Pacora Trio, consisting of the Slovak violinist Stano Palúch, Moldovan cimbalom player Marcel Comendant, and Slovak contrabassist Robert Ragan, will explore the interplay of these genres through music excerpts and original arrangements. They will show us how folk melodies serve as a source of inspiration for classical music and how jazz brings the freedom of improvisation as well as new ways of interpreting their shared musical roots.
