The interactive workshop will introduce an experiential approach to media education that uses the principles of escape games to develop critical thinking and the ability to navigate confidently through the flood of information and disinformation. Players will embark on a team-based mission to immerse themselves in an engaging story and discover how fake news, manipulation and the influencing of public opinion are exposed through problem solving. The workshop provides inspiration on how to connect social studies learning with an experience that will appeal to today's generation of students and help them on their journey towards a more resilient and better informed society.
