What are the effective ways of integrating film or animation into educational processes using available digital platforms? This workshop will introduce various educational tools and methodologies that help develop students’ cinematic thinking, both remotely or in the classroom. We will focus on the newly emerging online methodology, Animetod, which is a step-by-step guide to animated film for 1st and 2nd grade teachers and students. We will show you the snippets from the 36 planned lessons where clear explanations are combined with hands-on demonstrations and creative tasks. These can be easily implemented in classes. Finally, we will take a look at some other digital tools for film education, such as the European platform Cined or the interactive platform Film Corner which has recently been localized into the Czech language.
Suitable for teachers and everyone who is interested in film and audiovisual education
