What happens when your mind starts to dissolve in the online world? In this workshop, you will play the educational video game Digistories: Alex developed by indie studio Charles Games. Through an interactive conversation on social media, you will delve into the story of two friends whose relationship is being undermined by excessive use of digital technologies and gaming Under the guidance of a lecturer from One World in Schools, we will show how a shared gaming experience can help build healthy digital habits and open a safe space for reflection on topics that are familiar to children and teenagers, yet often invisible.

Jana Koutná

Jana Koutná is a project coordinator for media education at One World in Schools, an educational program by People in Need. She focuses on strengthening media literacy in Czech schools through audiovisual teaching materials and professional development workshops for educators. Her methodology builds on a background in film and literary studies, which she pursued at King’s College London and Charles University in Prague. In her work, she connects education, media, and critical thinking to help young people navigate today’s complex media landscape.
