A film does not always end with the closing credits. All you need is a microphone, a few good questions and someone to talk to. Participants will explore how a film experience can be transformed into a short podcast format. Together, they will look for themes, questions and observations that can emerge after a screening, while learning the basics of working with a microphone and recording. The result will be a short audio record inspired by a selected film.
The workshop is based on a format developed by French educators and uses a portable radio studio called Radio Box. The focus will not be only on the technology, but above all on the ability to lead a discussion, listen to other opinions and turn film reflection into a shared experience. The programme offers inspiration for using podcasts in film education as an engaging tool for working with young audiences.
